Reading Matt's blog brought back painful memories of my kindergarden year. There was teenage down-syndrome kid in our after care. I remember making fun of this kid because I was jealous that she got to color all day. Being around down syndrome children as an adult ,I found out they too know when you are making fun and teasing them They feel pain too. .
I am in constant awe that my behavior is noticed and remembered by strangersI meet in my workplace everyday, I hear , "oh I remember you from last year…Oh I saw you in Suwanee,Alpharette, Roswell etc." We all touch lives everyday. God, please help me remember to have a gentle touch!
