respect. everybody. everywhere. all the time.
be where we are supposed to be, when we are supposed to be there. (includes checking in with leaders during designated check-in times, as well as being in rooms when scheduled)
not be where we are not supposed to be. (this includes areas of the campus which are restricted, as well as the rooms of the opposite gender)
never go it alone. Use the “buddy system” all the time. Look out for the other members of our retreat community. You should never be in groups of less than 3.
use your head. if you are acting in a way which is unsafe to yourself or others, expect to be sitting out for awhile.
take it all in. you only have this experience with these people once. soak it up.
though we hope this could be left unsaid,…no weapons of any kind, no alcohol, no “medications” which have not been detailed on paperwork, no tobacco products, and no skimpy bikinis (girls should also abide by this rule).
Public displays of affection are encouraged, however public displays of intimacy are inappropriate.
Extreme disconnections from this covenant may result in one or more of the following:
Hanging out with the adult leaders more than you might want
Exiting the event early
Suspension of trip participation for one year.
