::Java Hut Sunday School Program:: Weekly
On Sunday mornings the youth gather in the Youth Café for a time of food, fellowship, and learning. We are always looking for those adults who are passionate about helping foster spiritual growth in our young people through teaching and coordinating this weekly time.

::Community Groups:: Weekly
This is our weekly evening gathering. At community groups the youth eat dinner, fellowship with one another, enjoy games and activities, while being challenged spiritually in a time of worship, teaching, and small groups. These small groups are led by adult mentors who develop significant relationship with their youth throughout the year.

~We also ask each family to provide dinner for Community Groups 1 evening per year.
:: Fall & Spring Bi-Monthly Events ::
::VOX:: Bi-Monthly
This is a coffee house put on by our senior high youth. Here they are encouraged to share their own artistic and musical expressions with the larger youth community.

::Serving Our Seniors & Care for Clarkston:: Bi-Monthly
Because we believe the Church is called to be the Hands & Feet of Jesus Christ, we encourage our youth to participate in programs of service in the community.

::Youth Mentoring Program::
This program targets one on one mentoring with the youth at OGUMC. While the program is undergoing some restructuring, look for information in the next few months.
:Specific Needs:
~Adult mentors who are passionate about helping young people grow in their walk with Christ through building relationships.
:: Annual Events ::
::Awanita Fall Retreat:: September 24-26, 2010
This is our yearly fall retreat. We get away and have a blast with the youth while also seeking to provide challenging teaching to encourage their faith in Christ.
:Specific Needs:
~A minimum of 7 Adult leaders who are willing to come on board, have fun with the youth, and help us make this legendary trip a deeply meaningful time for our youth!
::Tree Lot:: December
Tree Lot is one of our yearly fund raisers. The proceeds go towards making youth trips affordable.
:Specific Needs:
~Project Coordinators who will work with the youth staff to make this fundraiser a huge success.
~Adults to oversee (in manageable shifts) the tree lot with the help of youth volunteers.
::Winter & Spring Retreats::
There are several retreats in the winter and spring that are TBA.
:Specific Needs:
~Leaders willing to help plan the trips.
~Leaders willing to help lead these amazing times of community building and spiritual renewal.
Please prayerfully consider serving our youth over the next year in one or more of the above areas. Look over this list, fill out THIS form, and return it to the youth office by the end of July. We are very excited to serve our youth in the name of Christ alongside of you throughout this next year!
